Orthodontics is a dental specialty dedicated to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of problems with the position of the teeth and bite. Orthodontists are dentists who specialize in the correction of dental and facial problems through the use of corrective appliances, such as palatal expansion devices, brackets, archwires and bands.

Orthodontic treatments include:
